This trip was originally planned to take place the year prior, but due to unforeseen circumstances, it was delayed until now.

I had originally planned this trip in 2021 but I had a lot going on at the time and I decided to be patient and not rush into making plans so I pushed it out to 2022. Fortunately for me, it was perfect timing.

I had been talking to one of my nieces who lived there about visiting for some time now. I also wanted to visit one of my eldest brothers, (her father) who I hadn't met before either. Along with meeting them in Playa Del Carmen, I was also very excited about visiting Yucatan and Tulum as well.
