Living in California, Las Vegas in a quick and easy getaway. A3 1/2 hour drive or a 45 min flight and you're there to enjoy the entertainment capital of the world. Being that its so close to home, I usually find myself there at least once or twice a year. Somehow during the summer of 2023, I found myself visiting 3 times within the same month. For some this may be a normal thing, but for me it was not. I had just returned home from a trip to Egypt with a layover in Paris and decided to hit the strip and enjoy some good old fashioned American cuisine.

The drive there was nice, despite the summer heat, and its always better to have your own vehicle to get around. We stayed at the Stratosphere which had an amazing view of the city and enjoyed some drinks at the rotating rooftop bar overlooking the city.
